At St. Hubert School we strive to provide a safe learning environment rooted in our Catholic faith in which all students have the opportunity to develop to their full potential. We value and promote opportunities to join with our families and church in celebration of our faith. We believe that Jesus' commandment to: "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you" is the model of positive student behaviour.
Our Partners
We celebrate our Catholic faith on a monthly basis both at school and in our local parish. These liturgical celebrations are led by two of our local priests: Father Tony from our home parish, St. Peter as well as Father Trevor from Holy Name. We are blessed to have both priests support us in our endeavour to make the Church visible in our school. Parents/guardians are always welcome to join us in our Masses. As part of our Board focus, we select a Faith Ambassador annually who participates in the planning and facilitation of liturgical celebrations both at the system and school level to guide and deepen the spiritual development of staff, students, parents/guardians and our school community.
Our Catholic faith is celebrated in a variety of ways including:
Monthly masses/para-liturgies, morning prayers, classroom liturgies and celebrations, food drives, supporting local community initiatives and peer helpers.

Catholic Curriculum
Catholic curriculum and resource material contribute to achieving the expectations as laid out by the Visions of a Catholic Learner. Our Catholic teachings are woven into the daily instruction and interactions we have with students. Teachers at St. Hubert School also use expectations from the Catholic Graduate Expectations as well as Family Life and Religion Curriculum expectations to make curriculum decisions concerning program planning, instructional strategies, evaluation and assessment.
