About Us

St. Hubert School is a JK to Grade 8 community school with approximately 250 students. Located in the north central part of the city the student catchment area extends along Highway 11 North to Marten River and along Airport Hill. The two parishes in close proximity are St. Peter the Apostle and Pro-Cathedral of the Assumption. Most of our graduating students attend our Catholic High School, St. Joseph-Scollard Hall.

At St. Hubert School, we strive to meet the individual needs of all students entrusted to our care within a nurturing Catholic learning environment. Our goal is to provide all students with a high quality education rooted in our Catholic faith to prepare all students for lifelong learning. We value the opportunities to work together with parents, parish and community partners for the goal of student achievement. Our school currently has ten regular classrooms along with a Learning Assistance Class. Our team consists of approximately 25 professionals including teachers, Education Assistants, an Early Childhood Educator, Special Education teachers, secretary, and custodians. Together, our dedicated staff works collectively to ensure the safety and well-being of every child in our care.

St. Hubert School is part of the Full Day Early Learning Kindergarten program which includes the support of a classroom teacher and Early Childhood Educator working together to support student learning. Our school is equipped with a variety of technologies including mobile labs (both Apple and PC), SMART Boards, iPads and iPods, Kurzweil, document cameras and data projectors. We have an active student body with many in school activities as well as out of school excursions and school sporting events. St. Hubert School is proud to house a before-and-after school daycare program operated by the Lindsay-Weld Centre. Anyone interested in accessing this resource can contact the LW agency directly.
